WELCOME
Gail Miller, M.Ac., R.OM. specializes in Women's Health
Care and is a registered and licensed Practitioner of Oriental
Medicine in Pennsylvania. She uses both acupuncture and
herbs in her practice. She is nationally certified by the
National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture
and Oriental Medicine, (NCCAOM).
Her Masters degree is from the Academy of Five Element
Acupuncture in Florida. She has a certificate (450 hours)
in Chinese herbal medicine and has also completed a six
a month apprenticeship in the study of western herbs. Gail
has traveled widely in South America, Mexico, Spain, and
in China, where she studied joint and muscular disorders
at the Guang An Men Hospital in Beijing. Before becoming
an acupuncturist, Gail practiced Shiatsu for many years
in the Philadelphia area. She has over 24 years of health
care experience. At present, she has a private acupuncture and herbal practice and also provides
clinical supervision to third year acupuncture students at the Won Institute of
Graduate Studies in Glenside PA.
Gail treats most chronic and acute conditions, including
pain, but is especially interested in women's health, infertility
and pregnancy, gynecological disorders, emotional stress,
and fatigue. She treats all ages, from children of 9 or
10 years to the elderly. Treatments can be given to resolve
a particular problem, to build the immune system, as needed
in times of stress, or seasonally as a "tune up".
If you are currently taking medication, acupuncture can
possibly help to reduce the dosage, and Gail will be happy
to speak with your doctor regarding your treatment.
YOUR FIRST VISIT
Your first visit will last about one and a half hours. There
will be ample time to present your concerns and for you
and Gail to review your medical, physical, and emotional
history. After a thorough intake which will include tongue
and pulse diagnosis, you will receive your first acupuncture
treatment. Your response to these first needles will help
to establish a treatment plan for future visits. The needles
are usually left in place for 15 to 30 minutes. Most people
fall asleep or relax deeply during this time. You are requested
to refrain from eating a large meal before treatment and
wearing perfume or heavy makeup.
TESTIMONIALS
- I highly recommend Gail Miller. My heart was broken following the sudden death of my husband. Thanks to Gail's gentle touch and caring manner, my spirit is reviving and my wounded soul is healing. I have told all my friends to try acupuncture with Gail Miller. She is fantastic....Marie Keka
- I was dealing with the effects of radiation treatment for breast cancer when I first came to Gail. For me it resulted in lymphadema and the onset of menopausal symptoms. She worked with me to customize a treatment that included acupuncture, a special herbal formula and cold laser. My symptoms started to improve after the first treatment. I feel profound improvement in all the symptoms that where so challenging and I continue to feel an increased feeling of well-being.....N.D.E.
- For the first time, someone has treated my symptoms from the inside out, rather than temporarily covering them up with medication. Thank's to Gail's treatments. not only are my symptoms continuously getting better, but, I have more energy and a greater sense of well-being.

- I highly recommend Gail Miller. She approaches each consultation expressing genuine care for each patient and tailors every treatment to fit the needs of the individual. I began seeing Gail for severe migraines associated with PMS and low air air pressure, and I saw progress instantly-----I have not had a migraine since!! She has also helped to build up my immune system and ward off the many illnesses that I had prior to acupuncture, as well as healing lower back pain through acupuncture and laser treatment. Gail is always professional and she has a very down to earth, trustworthy nature. I can't imagine my life without acupuncture.....S.T.
